On arrival we said,"we have tried the rest, now we are going to try the best!!". How right we were. The overall service and ambiance which is pervasive throughout the hotel is second to none. From the owner Paddy, the manager Michele and David, Peter, Caroline, Sorcha and all the staff we were treated like VIPs. Thank you very much for a great short break and we look forward to seeing shortly when we attend a wedding. Other hospitality business's could learn a lot from The Carrickdale. S and G

first time staying at carrickdale we have eaten loads all over the years and i must say out of all my travels the carrickdale would be at the top of my list, we stayed one night and now we have booked a further 2 stays in it its absolutely amazing every aspect of it. we went to recharge ourselves and thats what we did, the room was excellent, the food brilliant, the staff excellent, the atmosphere 5* thankyou to all at the carrickdale hotel

Probably the best and cleanest hotel that we have been to and we go on short breaks once and sometimes twice per year. The food was excellent in quality and quantity.

We had a fabulous stay in the Carraigdale hotel. We all had a lovely time, the whole family loved it especially the breakfast. All the staff were so helpful and nice . We will definitely be back.

My husband and I stayed here for one night as we were attending a wedding nearby. The reception staff were very helpful , friendly, efficient & informative. The food in the bar was very good as was the breakfast the next morning. I would definitely return to this hotel & would recommend to anyone.
