The Carrickdale is a fantastic hotel. I choose this hotel in this area due to its facilities, especially in gym and pool. The Room was spacious, even though I was paying a single rate. Housekeeping and corridoors were immaculate. Good choice of Toilitries were available. Breakfast in the restaurant was efficent, great array on buffet table and excellent cooked breakfast. Efficent Staff and in an excellent Location. So forget the branded properties , this 3* Hotel is away superior for its grade, and its value for money.

The hotel has an extremely relaxed atmosphere. The staff are friendly and efficient in everything they do. Dining in the hotel is effortless for the guest and the staff just can't do enough for you but without being intrusive. Loved the idea of taking your order for dinner in the bar while relaxed with a drink. The food was superb, and the room was immaculate.

stayed in many different countries but this is by far the best all round hotel visited.The staff in particular have a must help attitude no matter what request was made.

The hotel had come highly recommended and I in turn will be recommending it to friends and family. Having the leisure centre and spa is definitely an extra bonus, also the proximity to Newry and shopping!!

got great welcome when i went to check in and the same in the bar girls could not have been more helpful and food was lovely and plenty of it.also girls in leisure centre were great. Over all pleasent stay I wish the other hotels i stay in most weeks would be as welcoming thanks and keep up the good work. pat waterford
